On September 12, 2024, the 2024 Soy Industry Annual Conference & 8th China Soybean Industry International Summit was successfully held in Harbin. The event was hosted by the Heilongjiang Provincial Soybean Association and the Beidahuang Agricultural Reclamation Group, among others. Shandong Yuwang Ecological Food Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Yuwang Ecology) was invited to attend and delivered a significant speech at the forum.
Nearly a thousand participants gathered for this grand event, including representatives from soybean seed companies, farming enterprises, trading and circulation companies, processing enterprises (crushing, protein, soybean products, etc.), research institutes, financial institutions, and government departments from major production regions across the country, all joining to discuss the future of the industry.
At this forum, Mr. Li Shunxiu, General Manager of Yuwang Ecology, delivered a keynote report titled "Industrial Layout and Development Prospects of China's Soy Protein Industry." The report provided an in-depth analysis covering four key aspects: the important value of soybeans and soy protein, supply and demand analysis, industrial layout, and future development trends.
Mr. Li pointed out that soybeans and soy protein hold significant value in food, feed, and industrial applications. He provided a detailed analysis of the current supply and demand situation in the soybean market and explored the industrial layout of China's soy protein industry. Furthermore, he analyzed future development trends for the soy protein sector, offering valuable insights for the entrepreneurs and industry experts present.
Mr. Li introduced that Yuwang Ecology is a National Key Leading Enterprise in Agricultural Industrialization, and its products have passed FDA inspection exemption certification. The company has always placed high importance on technological innovation, pioneering technologies such as low-temperature desolventization, high-gelation soy protein technology, and trypsin inhibitor separation and purification technology. It has independently innovated core equipment for processing low-temperature soybean meal and soy protein isolate. These efforts have driven the development of China's non-GMO soybean national industry, the domestic equipment manufacturing sector for soy protein, and the deep processing industry for soy protein. They also lay the foundation for the future potential of oral administration of protein-based pharmaceuticals.
The conference also featured an awards ceremony, presenting the "2024 Top 10 Soybean Oil and Fat Enterprises in Heilongjiang" and "2024 Top 10 Deep Processing Soybean Enterprises in Heilongjiang" plaques. Binxian Yuwang Plant Protein Co., Ltd. and Kedong Yuwang Soybean Protein Food Co., Ltd., both under Yuwang Ecology, were selected among the Top 10 oil and fat enterprises and the Top 10 deep processing soybean enterprises, respectively. This recognition acknowledges and commends Yuwang's achievements and dedication to the soybean industry.
The convening of this conference not only provided a clear roadmap for the future development of the soybean industry but also aligned with national policy directions aimed at promoting agricultural modernization and implementing the rural revitalization strategy. It further painted a grand blueprint for the future of China's soybean industry. With strong policy support, particularly in the context of the state increasing support for the soybean industry and promoting industrial structural optimization and upgrading, China's soybean industry is ushering in unprecedented development opportunities. The industry is poised to ride this momentum, achieving green, healthy, and sustainable development, and contributing Chinese wisdom and strength to global food security and health.
