The 3rd National Soybean Deep Processing Industry Technology Innovation Alliance (Heihe) Annual Conference Successfully Held in Wudalianchi

On September 24, the 3rd Annual Conference of the National Soybean Deep Processing Industry Technology Innovation Alliance (Heihe) was held in Wudalianchi City.
This annual conference was hosted by the National Soybean Deep Processing Industry Technology Innovation Alliance, the National Soybean Industry Technology System, and the Heihe Soybean Industry Association. It was undertaken by the Institute of Agro-Products Processing Science and Technology, Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, Shandong Yuwang Ecological Food Co., Ltd., the Bureau of Agriculture and Rural Affairs of Wudalianchi City, and the Wudalianchi Soybean Seed Association.
Centering on the national soybean revitalization plan and focusing on promoting technological innovation in the soybean deep processing industry, the conference gathered over 200 participants, including government leaders, experts from the soybean industry technology system, representatives from research institutions, members of the Soybean Alliance, and principals of key enterprises. It brought together multiple entities from government, industry, academia, and research sectors to jointly explore new development paths for the soybean industry.
The opening ceremony was hosted by Wang Fengzhong, Director of the Institute of Food and Nutrition Development, Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs. At the opening ceremony, speeches were delivered respectively by Dou Penghui, Second-level Inspector of the Department of Science and Technology, Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs; Liu Xianwu, Vice President of the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences; Chang Yuchun, First-level Inspector of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Affairs of Heilongjiang Province; Liu Ming, Vice Mayor of Heihe Municipal Government; and Xu Yabin, Secretary of the Wudalianchi Municipal Party Committee and Mayor of Wudalianchi City. Liu Xiqian, Chairman of the National Soybean Deep Processing Industry Technology Innovation Alliance and Chairman of Shandong Yuwang Ecological Food Co., Ltd., provided an overview of the alliance's annual work, awarded certificates to newly-added alliance members, and injected new vitality into the innovative development of the soybean industry.
The forum was presided over by Liu Rongrong, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Deputy Director of the Institute of Agro-Products Processing Science and Technology, Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences. Focusing on cutting-edge technologies and development trends of the soybean industry, 6 experts, scholars, and enterprise representatives delivered special reports on hot topics. They included Han Tianfu, Researcher of the Institute of Crop Science, Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences; Wang Fengzhong, Director of the Institute of Food and Nutrition Development and Vice Chairman of the Alliance; Yu Hansong, Dean of the School of Food Science and Engineering, Jilin Agricultural University; Li Yang, Professor of Northeast Agricultural University; Yuan Yang, Vice Dean of the School of Chemistry, Guangzhou University; and Liang Jian, CEO of Hebei Huatang Yungshang Marketing Communication Co., Ltd. Their reports shared the latest research achievements and practical experiences, providing intellectual support for the technological upgrading of the industry.
In addition, the conference included sessions such as promotion by the local government and research institutions, signing ceremonies, and research investigations. It fully demonstrated advantages from the perspectives of regional industrial layout, resource endowments, and scientific research achievements. Through the government providing a platform, research institutions offering technological expertise, and enterprises showcasing their products, the development direction and cooperation opportunities of the regional soybean industry were clearly presented. Multiple cooperation intentions were reached on site. Dali Food Group, Shandong Yuwang Ecological Food Co., Ltd., and the Institute of Agro-Products Processing Science and Technology signed cooperation agreements with Wudalianchi City, laying a foundation for more in-depth and multi-field cooperation in the future and accelerating the development of the soybean industry towards "high-quality raw materials, refined processing, and high-end technologies".
This annual conference built a high-level collaborative innovation platform for the national soybean deep processing industry. It accurately demonstrated cutting-edge technologies in soybean deep processing, facilitated cooperation intentions between multiple research institutions, enterprises, and the local government, and strengthened the alliance's hub role of "technology-driven and industry-linked". It also highlighted the alliance's ability to transform scientific research achievements from the laboratory to the production line, providing core support for enhancing the overall competitiveness of China's soybean deep processing industry chain.
